Thrift Shoppe
History of Giving Back
The Peace River Center Thrift Shoppe evolved from a need to provide for domestic violence survivors. Survivors not only benefit from funds generated by shoppers, but they can also shop with dignity at the Thrift Shoppe through our voucher program. The Thrift Shoppe has expanded its voucher program to also include qualified, low-income mental health clients as well, and the funds raised also benefit programs like Peace River Center Children’s Psychiatric Services. Every year the Thrift Shoppe gives away approximately $50,000 in goods to survivors and clients.
