Details: Full-time position. The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) Behavioral Health Therapist provides direct clinical services including intake and discharge planning to adults and children in a secure CSU. They conduct crisis assessments/interventions, which include assessment of co-existing issues and they provide individual and family counseling for CSU clients and their families.
Pay: $38,000 annually
Summary: This role includes conducting CSU crisis assessments/interventions which include assessment of co-occurring issues; facilitate a coordinated team approach in working clinically with CSU clients; conduct individual, group and family therapy as needed or as required by the Inpatient Clinical Supervisor; assist in training clinical personnel; provide collateral contacts and coordinate with various service providers to provide for continuity of care; conduct treatment planning/discharge planning reviews with CSU clients; and provide crisis interventions, including interventions for co-occurring disorders. Qualifications: Master’s degree in mental health related area required. LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW preferred. Minimum of five years experience working in a social service field. Will consider volunteer experience. Prefer two to three years experience working with individuals with mental illness.
