Donor Spotlight: Ansley Martin
Peace River Center is fortunate to have a strong base of incredibly generous donors. We’d like to introduce you to one of those volunteers, Ansley Martin:
In April, Ansley was selected as the recipient of Publix’s Mr. George Community Service Award. This award recognizes associates who demonstrate charitable community involvement through time spent volunteering and harnessing a passion for giving back to their community. The award allows the recipient to select a nonprofit organization to receive a financial award.
Ansley’s Involvement
Ansley explains why she selected Peace River Center as the recipient and how she became involved: “My family has always supported Peace River Center. However, I was personally moved by Margaret Parry, former Chief Development Officer, whose passion for her work inspired me to get involved. Margaret asked me to become a member of the Full Moon Howl Committee. I was so impressed with how that committee works tirelessly throughout the year to ensure they are creating awareness and raising funds for Peace River Center. I joined the committee and have been a passionate volunteer and donor since. Peace River Center is serving a great need in the community by offering services to individuals who suffer from mental illness, are victims of sexual assault and much more. I am proud to support the mission and look forward to continuing to serve Peace River Center.”
