Please Join Us Virtually on April 9 for an Informational Session on Anxiety
Everyone is talking about COVID-19, unprecedented restrictions are being put into place to try and protect communities, and emergency measures are being enacted to try and preserve the economy. Even the most well-adjusted individuals are experiencing anxiety and stress. But what about those living with anxiety, panic attacks, and other anxiety disorders? Join us on Thursday, April 9 at 10:00 a.m. for a virtual educational opportunity. Donna Rininger, LMHC, MCAP Peace River Center’s Director of Specialty Services will review:
- How disasters impact individuals with anxiety
- How to communicate and reassure loved ones, especially children, during a disaster
- Ways to best support someone with anxiety, especially during a disaster
We want this experience to be intimate and useful so we are limiting RSVPs to 25. Any additional RSVPs will be scheduled for a second session on Thursday, April 9 at 12:00 p.m. We encourage you to submit questions in advance, but there will also be time during the presentation for additional questions. Please RSVP by Wednesday, April 8 at 3 p.m. to Erika Rodriguez via email or text, 863.512.4226, so we can send you the Zoom log-in link and instructions if needed. For those who cannot attend, but would like to receive a recording of this session, please email Erika. Register Today
