You Are Not Alone — Coming Out of the Darkness, A Concert of Hope

Written and directed by Norm Small, the evening is a call for clarity: recognizing the signs of and the potential for preventing suicide among those we know and those we ought to. This one night only production is emceed by former Lakeland Mayor Howard Wiggs, Pat Flietz as Music Director and features the return of actress and singer Lindsey Alley, a Lakeland-native who for several years lived in New York City and is now residing in Los Angeles. The performance takes place at Theatre Winter Haven, “one of the best community theatres in America” and features music and songs from “Dear Evan Hansen,” “Wicked” and “The Greatest Showman” as well as other numbers appropriate for the evening performed by the best of Central Florida talent including:

Special Reserved Seating for the first two rows is $44. Donations are encouraged for all other seating (suggested donation $22). General seating is only available at the door the night of the Benefit Concert.

About Lindsey Alley
Lindsey Alley has been performing in theatre, television and film since the age of six. In 1989, she was cast as a Mouseketeer on the Disney Channel’s Mickey Mouse Club, performing alongside Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling and Keri Russell. She was one of only three cast members to appear in the pilot and all seven seasons of the show. On Broadway, Lindsey covered the role of Older Helen in “Hollywood Arms” (written by Carol Burnett and directed by Harold Prince), and she recently completed the Chicago engagement of “First Wives Club”, the musical (with Faith Prince). Regionally, Lindsey’s starring credits include: “Young Frankenstein”, “Legally Blonde” (LA Ovation Nomination),  “Let’s Misbehave”, “Having It All” (LA Ovation Nomination) “Shear Madness”, “How To Succeed…”, “I Love You, You’re Perfect…”, “Paper Moon” (with Gregory Harrison and Christine Ebersole), and many more.

Film, television and web credits include: Liza on DemandLethal WeaponHow I Met Your MotherI Didn’t Do ItBedtime Stories (with Adam Sandler and Keri Russell), B.L. Stryker (with Burt Reynolds and Ossie Davis), Ernest Saves Christmas, and her original, hit web series, On the Patio.  Lindsey is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, the William Esper Studio in New York, the Imagined Life Studio in Los Angeles, and she is a proud member of Actors’ Equity & SAG/AFTRA.
